The perfect banh mi from my favorite restaurant in Texas (and one of my top five in the USA), Elizabeth Street Cafe. It’s a French-Vietnamese spot in Austin from Rene Ortiz, the same chef who owns La Condesa.
I wish I had more reasons to visit so I could try all of the spring rolls and noodle soups on the menu, and then I could go next door his new Thai spot called SWAY.
